Close and reopen contracts

Close a contract
Note Contracts cannot be closed if they have active alerts.

Navigate to the home page of the contract you want to close.

Click
and select
Close from the menu.
The Close Contract page is displayed.

Click Close Contract.
A confirmation message is displayed.
The grey square icon in the Contracts panel of the Project/Dept summary page indicates that the contract is closed.
On contract closure, AVEVA Contract Risk Management checks for outstanding contract event alerts.
Any outstanding alerts are displayed and the user is warned that they cannot close the contract unless the event alerts are first closed.
Note Alternatively you can access the Close Contract page from the Project/Dept Summary
page. Click the drop-down arrow for the contract you want to close, and select
Close from the menu.
Reopen a closed contract

Navigate to the home page of the contract you want to reopen.
Tip If you cannot see the contract you want to reopen, this may be because the contract filter is set to view only open contracts. To view only closed contracts, select Closed from the drop-down list in the Contracts panel.

Click
and select
Reopen from the menu.
The confirmation message is displayed.

Click OK.
The contract is reopened, and its home page is displayed.
Warning When reopening a call off made from an Organization framework agreement, you are prompted to select a new project/dept for the call off if its original project/dept has been restricted from making call offs from the framework agreement since it was closed.
If there are no unrestricted project/depts in the business unit, you cannot reopen the call off until the Organization framework agreement call off restrictions have been updated. See Call off restrictions for further information.
Note Alternatively you can reopen a contract from the Project/Dept Summary page. Click
the drop-down arrow for the contract you want to reopen, and select
Reopen . A warning message is displayed. Click OK. A confirmation message is displayed.
