Delete, restore and permanently delete project/depts

Incorrect or duplicate project/depts can be deleted from the AVEVA Contract Risk Management system. When a project/dept is deleted it is moved to the Recycle Bin and cannot be accessed by any user.
Deleting Project/Depts
Only the Project/Dept Administrator has the permissions to delete a Project/Dept.
A Project/Dept cannot be deleted if tenders or contracts are associated with the Project/Dept.
To delete a project/dept:

Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

From the Admin menu, select Project/Dept Maintenance.
The Project/Dept Maintenance page is displayed.

Click the
icon for the Project/Dept you want to delete.
A warning message is displayed.

Click OK.
A confirmation message is displayed.
Note Project/Depts can be restored from the Recycle Bin after deletion.
Restoring Project/Depts
Project/Depts can only be restored by users with the required permissions.
To restore a Project/Dept:

Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

From the Admin menu, select Recycle Bin.
The Recycle Bin page is displayed.

Select Project/Depts from the Select a Recycle Bin section menu.
The Deleted Project/Depts page is displayed.

Click the
icon for the Project/Dept you want to restore.
A confirmation message is displayed.
Permanently Deleting Project/Depts
Warning Permanently deleted Project/Depts cannot be restored.
To delete a Project/Dept permanently:

Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

From the Admin menu, select Recycle Bin.
The Recycle Bin page is displayed.

Select Project/Depts from the Select a Recycle Bin section menu.
The Deleted Project/Depts page is displayed.

Click the
icon for the Project/Dept you want to permanently delete.
A warning message is displayed.

Click OK.
A confirmation message is displayed.
