Reviewers can contribute their feedback to a review as notes and attachments. Depending on how the review has been set up, they may also be able to edit the documents attached to the communication under review.
Reviewers can also complete the review, depending on how many required reviewers have been assigned:
-
If there are no required reviewers, any reviewer can complete the review by selecting a decision.
-
If there is one required reviewer, only they can complete the review by selecting a decision. All non-required reviewers can select a decision but this is used for guidance only.
-
If there are more than one required reviewers, they must all complete the review by selecting a decision. The overall decision is the one selected by the final reviewer.
You can check the Reviewers tab for the review to check if you are a required reviewer.
Once you have completed the review for yourself, you cannot add further notes and attachments.
Note Users with the following contract roles can also add feedback to reviews, even if they were not explicitly added as reviewers: Contract Owner, Contract Administrator, Contract Process Owner, Company Representative.

Complete your review
If you are not a required reviewer (check the Reviewers tab), the impact of the review decision you selected when completing review depends on whether there are other required reviewers:
-
If there are no required reviewers, your decision will complete the review for everyone and no other reviewers will be able to add notes and attachments, or select a review decision.
-
If there are required reviewers, your decision is for guidance only. Other reviewers can still add notes and attachments, and the required reviewers can complete the review.
If you are the only required reviewer, your decision will complete the review for everyone and no other reviewers will be able to add notes and attachments, or select a review decision.
If you are one of multiple required reviewers, your decision will complete the review for everyone only if you are the final reviewer to select your review decision. Whatever decision you select becomes the overall decision for the review.
To complete a review:
-
On the Review page, select Complete Review.
-
Select your review decision. The decision which allows any workflow to automatically continue is the first decision in the list.
-
A confirmation message is displaying, reminding you to ensure you have added any notes and attachments. Select Yes to complete your review.
-
If your decision completes the review for everyone, the status of the review displays Completed. Otherwise, you are still able to select a different review decision.
Your review decision is shown on the Reviewers tab.
