Update the contract end date

In order for changes to a contract's end date to be fully audited, they cannot be made when editing the contract details. Instead, the contract end date is updated using a separate menu option.
Changes to the schedule impact values of the contract communications do not change the contract's end date.
Users with the following contract roles can update the contract end date:

Contract Owner
-
Contract Administrator
-
Company Representative
To edit the contract end date:

Navigate to the home page of the contract whose details you want to edit.

Click
and select
Edit Contract End Date from the menu.
The Update Contract End Date page is displayed.

Set the New Planned End Date to the new end date for the contract.

Enter Comments/Feedback.

Click Save.
The contract home page is displayed, with the new Planned End Date shown in the contract snapshot (click the
icon).
The change to the contract end date can be seen in the commercial audit log for the contract (see Contract commercial audit log).
Note The Original End Date does not change.
