Close and reopen tenders

Closing a tender marks the tender as Closed and the tender becomes read-only. No user can make any changes to a tender when it has been marked as Closed.
On contract closure, AVEVA Contract Risk Management checks for outstanding tender alerts. If there are outstanding alerts when a tender is closed, all alerts and tasks for the tender are also closed.
If the tender is subsequently reopened, any outstanding alerts and tasks will reappear.
Tenders which are deleted cannot be closed or reopened.
The following users can close or reopen a tender:

Tender Administrators
-
any tender team member who has the Tender - Write Access permission

any user who has the Business Unit - View All Projects & Tenders and Reopen permissions (reopen only)
To close or reopen a tender:

On the project/dept Summary page, ensure the tender display filter is set to show open/closed tenders as appropriate.

Click the
drop-down arrow for the tender you want to close/reopen.

Select
Close Tender/
Reopen Tender from the menu.
A warning message is displayed.

Click Close tender / OK.
A confirmation message is displayed.
