Can I extend/reduce the final submission date for a dispatch?

The final submission date for a dispatch can be extended or reduced by the tender administrators after a dispatch has been performed. For more information, see Modify and redispatch requests.

Why can't I perform actions on a schedule item?

There are several reasons why a user may be unable to perform actions on a schedule item:

  • The schedule item may be marked as closed or completed. When a schedule item is in this state, all action functionality is locked down. If you need to carry out an action request that the tender administrator re-opens the schedule item.

See Reopen schedule items for more information.

  • In order for a user to be able to carry out actions against a schedule item, they must be an assigned user of that schedule item. (The tender administrators are automatically assigned to all schedule items). Only the tender administrators can assign users to schedule items.

See Tender teams for more information.

Why can't I see certain tender templates when I try to create a tender?

Only valid tender templates can be used as a basis for creating tenders. In order for a tender template to be valid, it must satisfy the following criteria:

  • A template group must contain at least one tender process step.

  • A group heading cannot be the last item in the tender schedule.

  • If the template contains a stage gate with a dependent tender process step, the step must follow the stage gate.

Why can't I edit documents in the tender library?

Documents in the tender library become locked and unavailable for editing when they are linked to a tender schedule item that is currently in progress. For example a document that has been issued as part of a review/approval/dispatch package becomes locked from editing in the tender library. This is to prevent the document being edited by a number of different users simultaneously. The document again becomes available for editing when the final submission date/due date has elapsed.

How do I edit tender schedule dates?

Tender schedule dates can be easily edited from the tender home page. See Modify tender dates for more information.

How do I review files offline for another user who does not have access to AVEVA Contract Risk Management?

AVEVA Contract Risk Management offers a number of solutions that facilitates external users' involvement in the tendering/contracting process. See Perform tender document reviews tfor more information.

Is there a way to archive closed tenders so they don't appear on the project/dept but can still be accessed if required?

Currently there is no archive feature in AVEVA Contract Risk Management. However, one option is to create an "Archive" project/dept and move old tenders into this project/dept.

Note This may affect your Project/Dept reporting.
