Document visibility options

You can change the visibility of documents to make public documents private and private documents public.

To change a document's visibility:

  1. Navigate to the library.

  2. Click the icon for the document you want to update.

    The Edit Options page is displayed.

  3. Select the appropriate option to change the visibility of the document.

    The document visibility options displayed depend on the area of AVEVA Contract Risk Management you are working in and the document properties already enabled.

    Option

    Definition

    Enable ability to send file to contractor

    Allows company users to send the document to contractors.

    Disable ability to send file to contractor

    The document is not available for sending to contractors.

    Make the file visible in the Contractor Portal

    If the document is added to the contract library or a contract communication it is available for contractors to view from the contractor portal.

    Hide the file in the Contractor Portal

    If the document is added to the contract library or a contract communication, the contractor will NOT be able to view the document.

    Mark the file as confidential

    Marks the document as containing confidential access. Only users with Confidential access (company and contractor users) can view the document.

  4. Click OK.

    A confirmation message is displayed.
