Edit business process role members

You can add and remove the members of a business process role even when the business process role is In Use.
To edit the members of a business process role:

Navigate to the Best Practice Library for the Organization, business unit or project/dept, or the Contract or Stage Gate Configuration page.

Select the Business Process Roles tab.
The Business Process Roles page is displayed.

Click the name of the business process role you want to edit the members of.
The Business Process Role page is displayed.

To add a new member to the business process role:

Click Add Business Process Role Member.
The Add Business Process Role Member(s) page is displayed.

Enter values as required for the relevant search criteria.
Option
Description
Business Unit
Select a specific business unit or All from the drop-down list.
Project/Dept
Select a specific project/dept or All from the drop-down list.
Search On
Select whether to search on Last Name, First Name or Position.
Criteria
This option refers to the text you enter in the Search For field.
Select whether you want the search to return results which Begins With, Contains or Ends With the text you enter in the Search For field.
Search For
Enter the text you want to search on.
Tip Enter the % character to perform a wildcard search, e.g. % by itself to return all results or man% to return all results beginning with man.

Click Search. All company users who match the search criteria are displayed.

Select the company users you want to add to the business process role.

Click OK. The new members of the business process role are displayed on the Business Process Role page.
You can use the
icon to add more members to the business process role.

To remove a member from the business process role, click the
icon for the member you want to remove.
Note Any changes made are saved when you leave the page. You do not need to click the Publish button for a Draft business process role if you do not want to publish the role yet.
