Review document notes

Add review notes and review document notes

Reviewers can add review notes and comments when:

  • The review has been assigned to the reviewer.

  • The review has NOT been marked as closed (reviewers can add, modify and delete their review notes and comments when they have completed their review. Review notes and comments become read-only once the review manager has marked the review as closed).

Add notes to a review

  1. Navigate to the File Review page. See Access tender document reviews for more information.

  2. Click Add Note and select Create from the drop-down menu.

    The Add Review Packet Note page is displayed.

  3. Enter the note in the Note Text field.

    To add an attachment, click Browse and select the required document in your computer.

  4. Click Save.

    A warning message is displayed.

  5. Click OK.

    The File Review page is displayed.

    Warning Once a note has been added to a review, it is published instantly and is available for other reviewers to read even if you have not marked the review as complete.

Add a note to a review document

  1. Navigate to the File Review page. See Access tender document reviews for more information.

    Note If the review has not already been started, click Start My Review in the Start Review section of the page.

  2. Under the Files to Review section click the fa-sort-down drop-down arrow assigned to the document to which you want to add a comment, and select Add File Note from the menu.

    The Add Review File Note page is displayed.

  3. Enter the note in the Note Text field.

    To add an attachment, click Browse and select the required document in your computer.

  4. Click Save.

    A warning message is displayed.

  5. Click OK.

    The File Review page is displayed.

    Warning Once a note has been added to a review, it is published instantly and is available for other reviewers to read even if you have not marked the review as complete.

    Edit review notes

    Reviewers can edit review notes and comments when:

    • The review has been assigned to the reviewer.

    • The review has NOT been marked as closed (reviewers can add, modify and delete their review notes and comments when they have completed their review. Review notes and comments become read- only after the review manager has marked the review as closed).

      Note Only the logged in user that added the note may edit it. The Review Manager cannot edit review notes added by other users even if they are performing a review on behalf of the assigned AVEVA Contract Risk Management user who added the note.

      1. Navigate to the File Review page. See Access tender document reviews for more information.

      2. Click the icon for the note you want to edit.

        The Edit Review Packet Note/Edit File Note page is displayed.

      3. Edit the note text as required.

      4. Click Save.

        A warning message is displayed.

      5. Click OK.

        The File Review page is displayed.

        Note All additions, deletions and edits of review notes and comments are tracked in the audit log.

      Delete review notes

      Reviewers can delete review notes and comments when:

      • The review has been assigned to the reviewer.

      • The review has NOT been marked as closed (reviewers can add, modify and delete their review notes and comments when they have completed their review. Review notes and comments become read-only after the review manager has marked the review as closed).

        Note Only the logged in user that added the note is able to remove it. The Review Manager cannot delete review notes added by other users even if they are performing a review on behalf of the assigned AVEVA Contract Risk Management user who added the note.

        2. Click the icon for the note you want to delete.

          A warning message is displayed.

        3. Click OK.

          The File Review page is displayed.

          Note All additions, deletions and edits of review notes are tracked in the audit log.
