View a communication's attachments

Any user with a contract role, and members of the responsible party for any communication reviews, can view the communication documents provided they have any necessary Confidential permission.
To view a communication's attachments:

On the communication register, click the Title of the communication you want to view the attachments for.

The Communication Details page is displayed, with the list of documents attached to the communication displayed in the Attachments section.

Click the name of a document to download it for viewing, or click the
icon to open the Attachment Details window from which you can view and edit its details, reserve it for editing, and perform other actions.
Note If the Attachment Details window has a Versions tab, version tracking has been enabled for the document. See Version tracking.
Different icons are displayed for attachments on the Communication Details page and the Attachment Details window (documents with version tracking enabled only) to indicate the document's properties:
- The document is Confidential; in other words, only users with Confidential access can see it.
- The document is reserved for editing.
- The document has the Visible in Contractor Portal option set to Yes; in other words, contractors can see this document if they have any other required
access (e.g. Confidential).
- The document has the Visible in Contractor Portal option set to No; in other words, contractors cannot see this document.
