Edit documents offline

To edit documents offline:

  1. Navigate to the page containing the document you want to edit.

  2. Click the icon for the document you want edit.

    The Edit Options page is displayed.

  3. Select Reserve and download file for editing.

  4. Click OK.

    The Edit Offline page is displayed.

    A message is displayed to confirm that the document is reserved for editing by you.

  5. Click the document title to download the document for editing and click OK to close the page.

  6. When you have made all the required changes, save the document to your hard drive.

  7. In AVEVA Contract Risk Management, navigate to the Library or page containing the document you want to edit.

  8. Click the icon for this document.

    The Edit Options page is displayed.

  9. If version tracking is enabled for the document, select Add a new version of the file, otherwise select Replace file with a new version. Click OK.

    The Replace File page is displayed.

  10. Click Browse to display the Choose File to Upload window. Double-click on the required document.

    The window closes and the New File field is populated with the document name and URL.

  11. If version tracking is enabled for the document, you can enter an optional Reason for Change.

  12. Click Add New Version/Replace as appropriate.

    A warning message is displayed.

  13. Click OK.

    A confirmation message is displayed.
