Progress measure groups

Apportioned progress measures record the percentage of the contract deliverable that has been completed, based on linked discrete pro rata progress measures.

The discrete pro rata progress measures can be on the same line item as the apportioned measure, or on different line items. To assist with linking, the discrete pro rata progress measures can be added to progress measure groups which can then be linked to apportioned progress measures - see Manage linked progress measures.

Progress measure groups are created when creating or updating one of their discrete pro rata progress measures from the Contract Breakdown page. See:

All the progress measure groups in a contract can be viewed and the group titles updated from the Contract Configuration.

View progress measure groups

  1. Navigate to the Contract Configuration page.

  2. Click the Progress Measure Groups tab.

    The progress measure groups which have been added to the contract are displayed. This includes groups that were created when adding or updating a progress measure, but no longer have any associated progress measures.

The values displayed on the Progress Measure Groups tab are:

  • Title: The name of the progress measure group, unique to the contract.

  • Budget: The total of the budget values of the progress measures in the group.

    The value of the budget is 0 for a group with no progress measures - i.e. a group was created but all its progress measures have been deleted.

Update the details of a progress measure group

You can only edit the Title of a progress measure group. You can add or remove a progress measure by updating its Group - see Update progress measures.

To update the title of a progress measure group:

  1. Navigate to the Contract Configuration page.

  2. Click the Progress Measure Groups tab to display the progress measure groups which have been added to the contract.

  3. Click the fa-sort-down drop-down arrow for the progress measure group, and select Edit Progress Measure Group from the menu.

    The Edit Progress Measure Group dialog box is displayed.

  4. Enter a new Title.

  5. Click Save.

    The Progress Measure Group page is refreshed.
