Company to Contractor communications can be created in the Company Portal only. Users with the following contract roles can create this type of communication:

Contract Owner
-
Contract Administrator
-
Company Representative
A typical lifecycle of a Company to Contractor communication is:
-
The communication is created in the Company Portal by a company user.

The communication is saved as Draft.
-
The workflow can be started for the communication, which can include reviews internal to the company.

The communication is published/sent to the contractor, i.e. it becomes visible on the Contractor Portal.

Communication requires agreement
Example: The terms of the contract require the contractor to agree or disagree with the content of a communication such as the minutes of a meeting.
The Required Response option of the communication template is set to Agreement Only or Agreement and Reply.
The possible communication states of a Company to Contractor communication which requires agreement are:

Awaiting Agreement from Contractor

Agreed

Not Agreed

Rejected
Note For a communication which requires Agreement and Reply, the process time limit in the following diagram is the time in which the agreement and the reply must be made.

Communication does not require agreement
Example: A communication is sent to the contractor for their records.
The Required Response option of the communication template is set to None or Reply Only.
The possible communication states of a Company to Contractor communication which does not require agreement are:
