Overview of field substitution

AVEVA Contract Risk Management users can generate documents containing tender/contract specific information in conjunction with the Microsoft Word custom field functionality. When a user adds a template document containing customized fields to a tender or contract, AVEVA Contract Risk Management can then extract the information relevant to this tender/contract (e.g. tender name, tender number etc.) and populate the document with this tender/contract specific information.

In addition, users also have the option of a mail merge functionality through which template documents can be automatically populated with specific contractor contact information in order to generate personalized letters inviting tender bids for example. Users also have the option of including their own user information within template documents.
