Contract roles

A contract role defines a set of AVEVA Contract Risk Management users who are accountable and responsible for specific duties relating to the execution and management of the contract. Each contract role has a defined set of permissions which users and business process roles assigned to the contract role will have.
Contract roles are independent of any roles assigned in CONNECT.
All users who have a contract role have non-confidential view access to the contract.
Company contract roles
Company users have access to the Company Portal only.

Contract Owner |
The single point of accountability in the Company for ensuring that: The Contract was executed in accordance with Company best practice. The Contractor delivered the Contract scope in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract. |
A single, named Company user. Each contract must have a Contract Owner. |

Contract Budget Holder |
The person responsible for the internal and external budget expenditure for a programme, project or contract. |
One or more named Company users and/or one or more Business Process Roles. |

Contract Requestor |
The person who requested the materials and/or services for which the Contract was created. |
One or more named Company users and/or one or more Business Process Roles. |
|
Contract Administrator |
The person responsible for the day-to-day performance and operational delivery of the Contract in accordance with Company best practice. |
One or more named Company users and/or one or more Business Process Roles. |
|
Contract Process Owner |
The person responsible for ensuring that the processes configured and available in the Process Library are in accordance with Company best practice. |
One or more named Company users and/or one or more Business Process Roles. Can be set at Business Unit and Project/Dept level, to apply to all associated contracts. |

Contract Auditor |
A person with the authority to view all aspects of a contract history including communications, documents, obligations and task assignments, for the purposes of discovering if best practice has been followed and contractual obligations met. Auditors are typically assigned by Company to their own personnel, but may be assigned by others, e.g. Joint Venture partners and project financiers. |
One or more named Company users and/or one or more Business Process Roles. Can be set at Business Unit and Project/Dept level, to apply to all associated contracts. |

Company Representative |
The person who officially represents the Company when interfacing with the Contractor. The Company Representative is an individual who is named in the contract document. Applies to all types of Contracts and Call Offs. |

Contractor Administrator |
A Contractor user who can manage the same aspects of the contract as the Contractor Representative, but is not the designated contact for notifications, etc.. |
One or more named Contractor users. |

Contractor Information Management |
A Contractor user who has access only to non-confidential contract information. They can manage various aspects of the contract such as communications, obligations and contract documents, provided they do not contain confidential information. |

Contractor Functional Support |
A Contractor user who has read-only access to non-confidential contract information. They are not able to manage any aspect of the contract. |
