Call off restrictions

It is possible to restrict the project/depts which can make call offs from a particular Organization framework agreement; for example, if there are countries where trade restrictions apply. The list of restricted project/depts is managed in the Contract Configuration for the Organization framework agreement.

Restrictions can be placed on all project/depts, including those which have been closed and/or deleted, provided no open call off already exists in the project/dept for the framework agreement.

The Call Off Restrictions tab in the Contract Configuration is available for Organization framework agreements only.

Rules for newly created project/depts

When a project/dept is created in a business unit that has existing project/depts, the call off restrictions for Organization framework agreements are updated as follows:

• If the Organization framework agreement has restrictions in place for at least one existing project/dept in the business unit, the new project/dept is also restricted.

• If the Organization framework agreement has no restrictions in place for any existing project/depts in the business unit, the new project/dept is unrestricted.

When a project/dept is created in a business unit that does not have any existing project/depts, the call off restrictions for Organization framework agreements are updated as follows:

• If the Organization framework agreement has restrictions in place for at least one existing project/dept anywhere in AVEVA Contract Risk Management, the new project/dept is also restricted.

• If the Organization framework agreement has no restrictions in place for any existing project/depts anywhere in AVEVA Contract Risk Management, the new project/dept is unrestricted.

View call off restrictions

The Call Off Restrictions tab can be viewed by any company user who has either a contract role for the Organization framework agreement or the Framework Agreements - Contract Configuration permission.

To view call off restrictions:

1. Navigate to the home page of the Organization Framework Agreement.

2. Click and select Contract Configuration from the menu.

   The Contract Configuration page is displayed.

3. Select the Call Off Restrictions tab.

   The Call Off Restrictions page is displayed. The icons displayed for business units and project/depts are:

   • - restricted

   • - unrestricted

   • - business units only; there are both restricted and unrestricted project/depts in this business unit

   • - unrestricted but cannot be made restricted because call-offs exist in this location for this framework agreement

     Closed and deleted project/depts are displayed as:

   • Closed

   • Deleted

   • Closed and deleted

     Use the Expand and Collapse buttons to show or hide project/depts in the business units.

Manage call off restrictions

The call off restrictions for an Organization framework agreement can be managed by the following:

• Users with the following contract roles:

  • Contract Owner

  • Contract Administrator

  • Contract Process Owner

  • Company Representative

• Users with the Framework Agreements - Contract Configuration permission.

  Warning Restrictions cannot be set on project/depts which have open call offs from the framework agreement (indicated by ).

To manage call off restrictions:

4. Navigate to the home page of the Organization framework agreement.

5. Click and select Contract Configuration from the menu.

   The Contract Configuration page is displayed.

6. Select the Call Off Restrictions tab.

   The Call Off Restrictions page is displayed.

7. To restrict a project/dept, click its icon.

   To unrestrict a project/dept, click its icon.

   For a business unit:

   • Click its icon to restrict all of the project/depts in the business unit.

   • Click its icon to unrestrict all of the project/depts in the business unit.

   • If the business unit has project/depts which cannot be restricted (indicated by ), clicking its icon will unrestrict all of the project/depts.

     If the business unit does not have project/depts which cannot be restricted (indicated by ), clicking its icon will restrict all of the project/depts.

   You can use the Restrict All and Unrestrict All buttons to restrict or unrestrict all project/depts which do not already have call offs from this framework agreement.

8. Click Save to save the changes to the restrictions.

   Note You can click to clear any changes you have made.
