Schedule item notes

Tender team members can add notes to schedule items. These notes relate to the particular schedule item or stage gate and can only be viewed by team members that have access to the schedule item.

Warning Notes (with or without attachments) added to a schedule item cannot be removed.

Note Notes added to stage gates should not to be confused with the package supporting notes and attachments. Stage gate notes are NOT issued as part of the approval package and can only be viewed by tender team members.

View schedule item notes

The following users can view schedule item notes:

  • Tender administrators.

  • Any tender team member.

  • Any user with the Business Unit - Audit Access to Tenders in Business Unit and the Access Across all Business Units user role permissions

To view schedule item notes, do one of the following:

  • Navigate to the home page of the schedule item. The Notes section is displayed at the bottom of the page.

  • On the home page of the tender, click the fa-sort-down drop-down arrow for the schedule item to which you want to add a note and select Edit Schedule Item from the menu. The Notes section is displayed at the bottom of the Edit Schedule Item page.

Add notes to schedule items

The following users can add notes to schedule items:

  • Tender administrators.

  • Any tender team member assigned to the schedule item.

To add a note to a schedule item:

  1. Do one of the following:

    • On the home page of the schedule item, click the icon in the Notes section.

    • On the home page of the tender, click the fa-sort-down drop-down arrow for the schedule item to which you want to add a note and select Notes from the menu.

    • On the home page of the tender, click the fa-sort-down drop-down arrow for the schedule item to which you want to add a note and select Edit Schedule Item from the menu. On the Edit Schedule Item page, click Add Note in the Notes section.

      The Add Note page is displayed.

  2. Enter the note in the Note Text field.

  3. If you want to add an attachment to the note, click Browse and select the document you want to add.

  4. Click Save.

    A warning message is displayed.

  5. Click OK.

    A confirmation message is displayed.
