A stage gate is a tool to aid decision making. See Stage gate template steps for more information.
You can add an ad hoc stage gate to a tender. However, unlike stage gates added through the tender template, you cannot configure any dependencies for the ad hoc stage gate. Dependencies can only be configured at the tender template creation stage.
Stage gates can only be added to a tender template if there is a business process role available in the Organization, business unit or project/dept, which has been published, has members, and has transmission slips configured for it.
The following users can add stage gates to a tender schedule:
-
Tender administrators.
-
Any tender team member with the Tender - Write Access permission.
