Issue stage gate packages for approval

When all the required stage gate information has been added, you can issue the stage gate package for approval.

To issue the stage gate package:

1. Navigate to the View Package page for the required stage gate. This is the page to which you are directed when you create a stage gate package.

   Note Alternatively you can access the View Package page by navigating to the stage gate home page and clicking View Package.

2. Click Issue Package.

   A warning message is displayed.

3. Click OK.

   A confirmation message is displayed. Email notifications are sent to members of the Responsible Party notifying them of the package that requires their response.

   Note When a package has been issued to a Responsible Party, the package becomes read-only and you are no longer able to edit the package. If the Responsible Party does not approve a package, the package is returned and can be revised and reissued. See Create stage gate package revisions for more information.
