Tender template step alerts

Schedule item alerts are a system of notifications and reminders that draw attention to tasks or actions that require a user's attention. Alerts can be added to process steps in a tender template so that they automatically are available in any tenders created from the template.

Create a tender template step alert

  1. Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

  2. Under Organisation Standards, click Tender Templates.

    The Tender Templates page is displayed.

  3. Select the template category in which you want to edit a template from the drop-down list.

    The tender templates for the selected category are displayed.

  4. Click the for the template you want to edit.

    The Tender Template Details page is displayed.

  5. Click the fa-sort-down drop-down arrow for the step to which you want to add an alert and select View Alerts from the menu.

    The Template Item Alerts page is displayed.

  6. From the Embedded Image (65% Scaling) (LIVE) menu, select Add Alert from the menu.

    The Select Alerts page is displayed listing all available alerts.

  7. Click the alert you want to add.

    The Add Alert page is displayed.

  8. Select the required target user type by clicking either Company User or Contractor.

  9. Click Save.

    A confirmation message is displayed.

Edit template step alerts

  1. Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

  2. Under Organisation Standards, click Tender Templates.

    The Tender Templates page is displayed.

  3. Select the template category in which you want to edit a template from the drop-down list.

    The tender templates for the selected category are displayed.

  4. Click the for the template you want to edit.

    The Tender Template Details page is displayed.

  5. Click the fa-sort-down drop-down arrow for the step for which you want to edit an alert and select View Alerts from the menu.

    The Template Item Alerts page is displayed.

  6. Click the fa-sort-down drop-down arrow for the alert you want to edit and select Edit from the menu.

    The Edit Alert page is displayed.

  7. Select the required target user type by clicking either Company User or Contractor.

  8. Set the alert start date and time by selecting the appropriate number from the day(s), hour(s) and mins drop-down lists.

  9. Select Before or After to define whether the alert should start before or after the selected time.

  10. Select Tender Template Step Start or Tender Template Step End to define whether the alert should start at the beginning or the end of the of the template step.

  11. Click Save.

    The Template Item Alerts page is displayed.

    Delete template step alerts

    1. Open the navigation bar. If necessary, click the Manage tab.

    2. Under Organisation Standards, click Tender Templates.

      The Tender Templates page is displayed.

    3. Select the template category in which you want to edit a template from the drop-down list.

      The tender templates for the selected category are displayed.

    4. Click the for the template you want to edit.

      The Tender Template Details page is displayed.

    5. Click the fa-sort-down drop-down arrow for the step for which you want to delete an alert and select View Alerts from the menu.

      The Template Item Alerts page is displayed.

    6. Click the fa-sort-down drop-down arrow for the alert you want to delete and select Delete from the menu.

      A warning message is displayed.

    7. Click OK.

      A confirmation message is displayed.
