The following are the enhancements and resolved issues delivered as part of this release.
Enhancements:

Support for Modern JavaScript - ES2021 ECMAScript standard.

Support for a Redundant Single-Sign-On (RSSO) server in Work Tasks enables seamless user authentication, specifically for Active Directory with Token Service.
Resolved Issues:

Barcode scanning cannot be performed in landscape mode.

Unable to upload attachments when the Encryption Security Mode is set for the Attachment control.

Note: This note is applicable for versions 8.1.212 and onwards.
- Select the latest AVEVA Work Tasks Pro app only if you have either AVEVA Work Tasks 2020 Update 2 with Hotfix 7.2.3020.12 or AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1 with Hotfix 8.1.2030.4. Users with other versions should not choose the latest app. This is applicable only
for Android.
- To ensure push notifications work properly after applying the hotfix and upgrading
the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro app, log out and log back in. If notifications still don't
appear, restart your device and/or uninstall and reinstall the app.
Resolved Issues:

Migrated the legacy FCM APIs to the FCM v1 APIs to ensure continued functionality of AVEVA Work Tasks and maintain notification message delivery despite the deprecation of the legacy FCM APIs.

Resolved an issue where the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro application would crash when launching the RFID scanner on Android 13 devices. Users can now scan NFC tags seamlessly, allowing them to perform RFID scanner features without interruptions.

Resolved an issue where users were unable to upload attachments when the Encryption Security Mode was set for the Attachment control. Users can now successfully attach photos in the Attachment control with Encryption Security Mode enabled, ensuring smooth use in their business processes.
