Unlock Locked Items

The Unlock Locked Items option in User Tools allows you to view the list items locked by the selected user and also unlock it if required.

To View and Unlock Locked Items

  1. Log in to Enterprise Console and navigate to Tools > User Tools > Unlock Locked Items. The View and Unlock Items Locked by User window is displayed.

  2. To select an user to view the items locked click on the User Lookup icon in the Select User field. The User Lookup dialog is displayed, select the user, for example Kirsten.

  3. In the Select List drop down, select the List to view the locked items.  

  4. Click View Locked Items,  the View and Unlock Locked Items window will be refreshed and the items locked by the selected user for the selected list will be displayed in the Items Locked By User section. 
     
    In the image above the selected user is admin and the selected list is Workflow. Hence the Items locked by User section displays the workflows locked by admin.

  5. Select the items to be unlocked and click Unlock.

    • To unlock all the items of the List select the parent node, in our example selecting workflow will ensure all the locked items displayed in this window are selected.

    • To unlock individual items select the check box beside the appropriate one.

    • If the parent workflow is not locked and only the child workflow is locked,  the Items locked by User section will display only the locked child workflows.
