Repository Administrator

Repository Administrator option allows you to replace the repository administrator with an alternate user.

Functionality

  • If the User to be Replaced is mapped to a security group other than the administrator (for example contributor or reader), then a message User is not part of this artifact is displayed.

  • If the Alternate User is not an administrator at repository level, than the security rights of the  Alternate User will be updated and the security rights of the User to be Replaced will be applicable.

  • If the Alternate User is an administrator at repository level, than the entry of the User to be Replaced will be removed and the Alternate Actor will be replaced.
