Windows Authentication or Anonymous Authentication Error

Issue

The following authentication error messages appears while opening the Farm Configuration Wizard.

Ensure that Windows Authentication is enabled to access the Central Configuration and Windows authentication or anonymous authentication is enabled to access the Enterprise Console.

Probable Cause

Windows Authentication or Anonymous Authentication is not enabled on your computer.

Solution

You must enable:

• Windows Authentication to access the Central Configuration

• Windows Authentication or Anonymous Authentication to access the Enterprise Console
