Register Assemblies From Web

Use the From Web option to register a web service to use in AVEVA Work Tasks. The registered web service method can be used in the expression editor and in API.

1. In the Enterprise Console, click menu icon, click Tools, and then click SOA Assembly. The Assembly List page appears.

2. On the Action bar, click New, and then click From Web. The Specify the Web Uri wizard appears.

3. Type the required information.

   Parameters	Description
   Name	Name of the web service.
   Web Uri	Valid web URI. For example, http://ws.cdyne.com/psaddress/addresslookup.asmx?wsdl
   Description	Description for the Web URI. For example, Web service for accessing address or address validation.
   User Name	User name for web service authentication.
   Password	Password for the web service authentication.
   Domain	Domain for the web service authentication.

4. Click Test Connection to validate the URI. If the URI is valid, a test connection succeeded message appears. You can then can save the entry.

5. Click Save to save the valid entries.
