In this scenario:

A Workflow Gateway Object (WorkflowGateway_002) is created and a Drum_Conveyor instance is created. The Drum_Conveyor instance uses the WorkflowGateway_002 to associate workflow event. The steps followed for this are given below:

  1. Create a Workflow Gateway Object in the engineering environment and provision it to AVEVA Work Tasks Repository.

  2. Create a Drum_Conveyor instance. Add Workflow Event and associate a workflow to it.

  3. Save and deploy the Workflow Gateway Object and Drum_Conveyor instance. Trigger the workflow.

  4. If everything is working as expected, access System Platform IDE in the engineering machine.

  5. Select the WorkflowGateway_002 and Drum_Conveyor_002.

  6. Select Galaxy > Export > Object(s).

  7. Save the exported object in a disk. In addition, follow the steps 1-8 to export the workflow given in the above section Move only the Workflow.

  8. Move exported objects (.aaPKG) and workflow (.xml) to the Production machine. Follow the steps given below.

  9. Open the System Platform IDE of Production machine.

  10. Go to Galaxy > Import > Object(s).

  11. Select the .aaPKG file that was moved from the engineering to production machine.

  12. After successfully importing, re-provision the WorkflowGateway_002 with the Repository in production server.

  13. Save and deploy the WorkflowGateway_002.

  14. Open the Drum_Conveyor_002 and click the Workflows tab.

  15. Select the events you have created in the engineering environment. Click the Refresh button of the Workflow Gateway drop-down list.

  16. Select WorkflowGateway_002 from the drop-down and click the Select button.

  17. Click New Workflow and follow the steps given in "Move only the Workflow" (Steps 11 to 19).
