User Tools

In AVEVA Work Tasks, the User Tools feature helps you identify the artifacts where the user needs to be replaced, when a particular user is no longer associated with the organization or the process. It also helps you identify the occurrences of the workflow where the user's direct reference is used and view and unlock list items locked by a particular user.

Importance of Replace User

To ensure the process is not affected and all tasks are completed on time, it is important to replace an user who is no longer associated with the organization or process with an alternate user. Listed below are some of the scenarios where user needs to be replaced.

• List item owned by the User to be Replaced.

• User to be Replaced is a participant of the queue and also has some work items assigned.

• User to be Replaced is as an alternate actor for any user.

• User to be Replaced is a repository administrator.

• User to be Replaced is mapped to a security group at repository, list or list item level.

• User to the Replaced is configured in the exception mail settings of the repository.
