Troubleshooting AVEVA Work Tasks Upgrade

Issue:

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.BatchParser

While creating a DataSource, the following error message appears:

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.BatchParser, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Probable Cause

The Application runs under different processor operating mode than the installed operating system. For example, on a 64Bit OS application runs in 32 bit mode.

Corrupt or wrong SMO installation.

Resolution

• Ensure that the correct SMO and CLR Type are installed in the system. For example, for 64-bit OS, install 64-bit SMO and 64-bit CLR Types.

• If the OS is 64-bit, set Enable 32-Bit Application flag to False.
