Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is an extensive data integration platform that is used to transfer, transform, and merge information from various sources, and then load onto multiple systems.
Workflow Management List Data Exchange (SLDE) is built on the SSIS data flow component and is flexible to support various industry standard data sources. The SLDE components allow importing and exporting data into List, data store.
To make the List infrastructure flexible to load application data, an important capability is support for data import from and to various data sources. The SLDE components include List Source and List Destination for SSIS data flow, and Workflow Execution Task for SSIS control flow. List is also an Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) tool.
