Secure Work Item Control - View

To secure work item control for the Contributor user

1. Log on as the Administrator user.

2. Point to admin, and then click Repository Settings. The Repository Settings page appears.

3. In the Advanced Settings tab, click Manage Security Groups. The Security Group page appears.

4. Right-click the Contributor security group, and then click Edit. The Modify a Security Group page appears.

5. Uncheck the Can View Work Item Control right.

6. Click Save. The Synchronizing the Security Group dialog box appears.

7. Click Submit. As the work item control rights can not be customized other than at the repository level, there is no need to synchronize.

8. Click OK in the confirmation window.

9. Log on as the user who belongs to the Contributor security group.

10. In the Enterprise Console, click menu icon, select Inbox. You will get no permission related warning message.
