Upgrading Scenarios
You can upgrade the product to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1 from AVEVA Work Tasks 2023. However, if you want to upgrade from versions earlier than AVEVA Work Tasks 2023, you must first upgrade to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 and then to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1.
When you upgrade the product to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1 from versions earlier than AVEVA Work Tasks 2023, you cannot proceed with the upgrade process. The prerequisites for AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1 get installed which are not compatible with the earlier product version's prerequisites, and you cannot revert the changes. Hence, before you start upgrading, backup all the files of the installed product version in case you want to revert. Also, make sure earlier versions of the product are upgraded to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 before upgrading to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1.
Upgrading to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1
The upgrade will overwrite all files. Therefore, we recommend that you back up the files before upgrading the product.
