AVEVA Work Tasks provides three display modes - Browse, Design, and Edit in their home pages.

The Browse mode allows the user to only view the web page. The user can either minimize or restore the web page view. The user will not be able to delete or edit the web part in this mode.

To view the Browse mode

  1. Go to Enterprise Console > Settings > Web Part Settings > Page 1.

  2. Expand the Webparts Settings bar.

  3. Click the Browse mode from the Web Part Display Mode drop-down list.
    By default, the home page is in Browse mode. You can see that the browse mode allows the user only to minimize the web part view. The user can neither edit nor delete the web part.
