Enabling Lock for User Defined List

The Lock and Unlock feature available for the Workflow, Forms and List Designers can be extended to the User Defined lists as well. In the section below you will learn how to enable lock for User Defined list .

To enable Lock for list items within User defined list

1. Log in to the Enterprise Console and navigate to Tools > Manage Lists.

2. Access a list, for example Inventory Purchase Order and edit it either by:

   Selecting the Edit option in the ribbon bar.

   Or

   Selecting the Edit List option from the context menu.

3. The Edit List dialog is displayed, click Save and Continue.

4. The List Designer window for Inventory Purchase Order is displayed. Click Edit.

5. The Inventory Purchase Order Properties dialog is displayed. Navigate to the Advanced tab.

6. Set the Enable Lock option as Yes. The default setting is No.

This will enable lock for list items within User Defined list, which will enable you to Lock feature.
