Modify a Security Right

This option allows us to modify the scope, values and follower values for an existing security right.

To edit the security right

1. Log on to the Enterprise Console.

2. Point to admin, and then click Repository Settings. The Repository Settings page appears.

3. Click the Advance Settings tab.

4. Click Manage Security Rights. The Security Right window displays all the security rights.

5. Select the security group to be modified from the list. For example, select the 'Can Add Work Item Tasks' right.

6. Click Edit. The following page is displayed:

   

7. Edit the required fields.

8. Click Save to update the changes.

   Note: The user cannot modify the settings of Standard Rights. Only the settings of the user created security rights can be modified.
