Define Enterprise Console

  1. Run Farm Configuration Wizard.

    The Welcome to the AVEVA Work Tasks Farm Configuration Wizard page appears.

  2. Click Next.

    The Edit AVEVA Work Tasks Farm settings page appears.

  3. Select Service Settings.

  4. Click Next.

    The Services/Global Settings page appears.

  5. Click the Advanced Settings for Enterprise Console button.

    The Enterprise Console Settings page appears.

    Note: If Enterprise Console is running in secured mode (https), update the Intranet Path field with the associated fully qualified domain name in place of the server name.
    Example: If the fully qualified domain name is mycert.mydomain.com, then provide https://mycert.mydomain.com/Enterpriseconsole in the Intranet Path field.

  6. Click Save.

    The created Enterprise Console is displayed in the Existing Enterprise Consoles grid.

  7. Click OK.

    The Installing Service screen appears, indicating the progress of installation. The message Installation is Complete appears after all the services are installed.

  8. Click OK.

Access Enterprise Console Settings in AVEVA Work Tasks Pro App

You can configure the Enterprise Console settings such as Enterprise Console path, Repository name, corresponding Provider name, and User name in the Farm Configuration Wizard. You can generate a QR code to store these settings. This QR code can then be scanned by the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro App to automatically fill the settings in the Settings screen.

  1. Run Farm Configuration Wizard.

    The Welcome to the AVEVA Work Tasks Farm Configuration Wizard page appears.

  2. Click Next.

    The Edit AVEVA Work Tasks Farm settings page appears.

  3. Select Service Settings.

  4. Click Next.

    The Services/Global Settings page appears.

  5. Click the Advanced Settings for Enterprise Console button.

    The Enterprise Console Settings page appears.

  6. Click Generate QR Code.

    The Scan QR Code dialog box appears.

  7. Click Download.

    The Save As dialog box appears.

  8. Enter the File name for the QR code and select the Save as type as PNG.

  9. Click Save.

    The QR Code is generated successfully.

  10. Scan this QR Code in the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro App.

    The values configured for the following settings in the Farm Configuration wizard are considered by default.

    • Enterprise Console path. The local intranet Enterprise Console path is considered.

    • Repository name

    • Provider name

    • User name

  11. Enter the password.
