Delete Web Part

Users can delete a web part by going to the design mode or edit mode in the Web Part Settings ribbon bar.
To delete a web part

Open a home page from which you want to delete a web part..

Go to the Design or Edit mode in the Web Part Settings ribbon bar.

Select the Delete option in the Edit Web Part drop-down list of the web part you want to delete.

A message from the web page appears asking you if you want to delete this web part permanently.
You can see that the My Inbox Web Part is deleted from the header zone and only the Work Item List web part is retained.
