Install AVEVA Work Tasks

You can use the AVEVA Work Tasks installer to install the AVEVA Work Tasks product.

Note:
- Ensure that the ISSetupPrerequisites folder is available in the same folder as the AVEVA Work Tasks installer.
- Microsoft .NET Core 8.0.10 is a prerequisite for AVEVA Work Tasks and is included in the list of prerequisites. However, the installation will depend on the version existing on the target machine.

To install AVEVA Work Tasks

1. Run AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2.exe.

   The installer splash screen and then the AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 - InstallShield Wizard screen appears.

2. In the Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 page, click Next.

   The License Agreement dialog box appears.

3. Read the terms, select the I accept the terms in the license agreement option, and then click Next.

4. Select the Destination Folder.

   By default, the product is installed at C:\Program Files\AVEVA\Work Tasks. You can use the Change button to install the product at a custom location.

   In case the product is installed in a custom path, the installation folder will inherit the access control restrictions of the Program Files folder.

5. Click Next.

   The Ready to Install the Program dialog box appears.

6. Click Install to begin the installation.

7. On the InstallShield Wizard Completed dialog box, click Finish.
