AVEVA™ Work Tasks

Difference Between Integration and SOA

  • Last UpdatedMar 12, 2021

The following are the differences between integration and SOA:

  • Script activity object life cycle is limited to the script. In SOA, the object life cycle is automatically managed by AVEVA Work Tasks and there are activities using JIT.

  • Use methods and properties of object without using intermediate variables.

  • Using SOA activity is easier than using Script activity.

  • SOA is security enabled whereas Script activity security is not enabled.
