Upgrade Extension for System Platform

You can upgrade to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 Extension for System Platform from the following version:

• AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 Extension for System Platform

Prerequisites

• In the AVEVA Work Tasks server, upgrade AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 or AVEVA Work Tasks SP1 to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 version.

Steps to Upgrade

If you are installing AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 in the Enterprise Server mode, install the AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 Extension for System Platform on all the servers.

1. Stop all the AVEVA Work Tasks services in the AVEVA Work Tasks server.

2. Run the AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 Extension for System Platform.exe installer.

   The installer splash screen, and then the AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 Extension for System Platform screen appears.

3. Click Next.

   The License Agreement screen appears.

4. Read the terms, select the I accept the terms in the license agreement option, and then click Next.

   The Customer Information screen appears.

5. Enter the User Name and Organization name.

6. Under Install this application for, select one of the following:

   • Anyone who uses this computer (all users): If the application can be accessed by all the users using this computer.

   • Only for me (localadm): If the application can be accessed by only the local administrator of the computer.

7. Click Next.

   The Click Install to begin the installation screen appears.

8. Click Install to begin the installation.

   After the installation is complete, the InstallShield Wizard Completed screen appears.

9. Click Finish to complete the installation.

10. Restart all the AVEVA Work Tasks services.
