Create Enterprise Console with Anonymous Authentication

To successfully configure and use AVEVA Work Tasks Pro, we recommend you to create a new Enterprise Console that specifically caters to the mobile services.

On the Windows Start menu, point to Programs, point to AVEVA, and then select Farm Configuration Wizard.

Right-click Farm Configuration Wizard, and then click Run as administrator.
The AVEVA Work Tasks Farm Configuration Wizard appears.

Click Next.
The Edit AVEVA Work Tasks Farm Settings window appears.

Select Service Settings.

Click Next.
The Services/Global Settings window appears.

Click the edit icon near Enterprise Console option.
The Enterprise Console Settings window appears.

Click New EC.

In the New Website text box, enter a name for the Enterprise Console.
For example, enter name as MobileEnterpriseConsole.

Click the edit icon near the Create at option to change the port number, if required.
The default port is 8000.
The IIS Structure window appears.

Select the path where you want to create a Enterprise Console.
For example, select AVEVAWorkTasksSites.

Click OK.
The selected path is displayed in the Create at text box.
The mapped repositories are displayed in the Repositories.

Select the repository(s) that you want to map the newly created site.
Use Ctrl or Shift keys to select multiple repositories.
Note: The mapped repositories are auto-populated on entering the URL in the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro application. However, in an shared host environment, the repositories and providers are not auto-populated. Thus, the administrator must provide the repository and provider details to the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro user. You can configure the shared host environment through the following steps:
a. Go to SKService table of Farm Database.
b. In the property collection of Global Settings, update the property issharedhostenvironment to True. -
Select the required Authentication Type as Anonymous.

Click Save.
The created Enterprise Console appears in the Existing Enterprise Consoles section.

Click OK.

Click Finish in the Farm Configuration Wizard window.
To set anonymous authentication for existing Enterprise Consoles
You can set the anonymous authentication for existing Enterprise Consoles through IIS.

In the Administrative Tools window, click Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
The Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager window appears.

Click Sites, click Enterprise Console, and then select Authentication from the right pane.

Click Open Feature on the Actions pane.

On the Authentication pane that opens, set Anonymous Authentication as Enabled.
