Configure Internet Information Services

Before you install AVEVA Work Tasks, you must install and configure Internet Information Service (IIS).

IIS must have the following features enabled:

• .NET Extensibility

• ASP.NET

• ISAPI Extensions

• ISAPI Filters

• Request Filtering

• Windows Authentication

• Static Content

• HTTP Activation

  Note: HTTP Activation option is enabled automatically upon installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 and above versions. If it is disabled, then you must enable this option manually.

Enabling features to configure IIS

Note: The above listed features are enabled when you run the Farm Configuration Wizard to configure the server/client machines for AVEVA Work Tasks. However, if those features are not enabled, you need to enable manually in the Windows Features dialog box.

• To enable features, open the Control Panel, click Programs and Features, and then click Turn Windows Features on or off. Select the features in Windows Features dialog box to configure IIS.
