Archival Strategy for AVEVA Work Tasks Database

The Archiving Script is a database script used for removing the completed and aborted workflow data from the AVEVA Work Tasks databases. The main goal of archiving the databases is to ensure better performance by reducing the amount of data from the databases.

AVEVA Work Tasks has two databases – Repository database and Farm database.

To archive the databases, follow the steps given in:

• Archiving Repository Database

• Archiving Farm Database

The steps provided are applicable only if the product version is 4.3.4005.0 or later.
