The Is Artifact Modified column is set to True when the workflow definition changes for a workflow, which was installed by a package.
This is applicable only when:
-
The workflow is installed by the package and contains the package-related information.
-
The workflow is modified for the first time.
Conditions when the Is Artifact Modified column is set to True
The Is Artifact Modified column is set to True when:
-
The workflow design changes. For example: An activity is added, an existing activity is removed, property of an activity is modified, and so on.
-
The workflow is edited.
-
The workflow is imported.
-
A task that modifies the workflow definition is selected from the Workflow Task list.
-
An association for File Watcher or ArchestraA (ASB) Events, is created in the workflow.
-
An ArchestraA Event is mapped from IDE to a workflow.
-
An Invoke Workflow control is used in form.
-
A form is associated to the workflow.
Note: When you create an association (for example, Scheduler), an XML variable named WorkflowSchedulerXMLData is created. Due to this, the workflow definition changes and the IS Artifact Modified column is set to True. However, if the workflow already contains this XML variable, then the value of the IS Artifact Modified column is retained as-is. This is also applicable for other associations to workflow.
