BAM

The BAM option, allows you to replace the email address of the user who is configured to receive BAM alerts of a workflow, with an alternate user's email address.

Functionality

  • If the email address of the User to be Replaced is not configured to receive any BAM Alerts, then the message User is not a part of this artifact is displayed.

  • If both the User to be Replaced and the Alternate User are configured to receive BAM Alerts, then the entry for the User to be Replaced will be removed and the entry for Alternate User will be retained.

  • If the Alternate User has no email address defined, then a message Error occurred while replacing the user configured in the BAM Alert configuration of workflow(s).Check logger for more details is displayed. In the logger you will find a message, that the email address is not configured. To proceed you have to configure the email address of the Alternate User.

  • If the option Ignore Lock is selected, then the email address of the User to be Replaced will be replaced with the email of the Alternate User even for locked workflows having BAM Alerts configured.

  • When the option Ignore Lock is not selected, then the email address of the User to be Replaced will not be replaced with the email of the Alternate User for locked workflows having BAM Alerts configured.

  • When the option Ignore Lock is not selected, then the email address of the User to be Replaced will not be replaced with the email of the Alternate User for locked workflows having BAM Alerts configured, even if the logged in user has locked the workflows.
