The Farm Configuration Wizard allows you to create a new Enterprise Console.

Note: You can create as many Enterprise Consoles as you require, but you cannot create more than two Central Configuration sites.

To add a New Enterprise Console

  1. On the Windows Start menu, point to Programs, point to AVEVA, and then click Farm Configuration Wizard.

The Welcome to the AVEVA Work Tasks Farm Configuration Wizard appears.

  2. Click Next.

The Edit AVEVA Work Tasks Farm Settings window is displayed.

  3. Select Service settings.

  4. Click Next.

The Services/Global Settings page is displayed.

  5. Click the icon against Enterprise Console option.

The Enterprise Console Settings page appears.

  6. In the New Website text box, enter a name for the Enterprise Console.

For example, enter name as 'Telematics'.

  7. To create the Enterprise Console in different port, click against Create at option, and then select the site with the required port.

    The default port is 8000.

The IIS Structure page is displayed.

  8. Select the path where you want to create an Enterprise Console.

  9. Click OK.

The selected path is displayed in the Create at text box.

The mapped repositories are displayed in the Repositories.

  10. Select the repository(s) to map to this created site.

You can select multiple repositories by using Ctrl or Shift keys.

  11. Select the required authentication type in the Authentication Type drop-down list.

The available authentication types are Windows, Anonymous, and Microsoft Entra ID.

Note: The Microsoft Entra authentication type is available only if this user provider is configured in the system.
To configure Microsoft Entra user provider see Microsoft Entra Settings.

See Authentication and Personalization topic to know more about Authentication Type.

  12. Click Save.

The created Enterprise Console is displayed in the Existing Enterprise Consoles section.

  13. Click OK.

  14. Click Finish.

Repeat the above steps to create one more Enterprise Console.

Note:
- If you want to update the authentication type to Microsoft Entra ID of the already configured Enterprise Console, you need to reconfigure the Microsoft Entra user provider for the respective Enterprise Console. For information on configuring user providers, see Microsoft Entra Settings.
- The Enterprise Console cannot be accessed in Chrome browser when configured with unsecured access (http://) for Microsoft Entra authentication type.
