This topic provides information on editing Database User Settings, changing the pool size, changing the password for Windows Active Directory and for SQL user credentials. Consider the following scenarios for editing Database User Settings:

Scenario 1

The Database User password has been modified in the Active Directory. This modification has to be updated in the database. If not modified, the user will not be allowed to log in to the Farm.

Scenario 2

The user login credentials has been modified in SQL database instance. This modification has to be updated in the Farm database. If not modified, the user will not be allowed to log in to the Farm.
