Mobile Notification Service Errors

Issue:
Notifications not received on the mobile device.
Resolution:

Verify if Push Notifications were allowed at the time of installation.

If Push Notifications were not allowed during installation, then reinstall AVEVA Work Tasks Pro.

If Push Notifications were allowed, then go to Notification Settings in your mobile device, and then enable Sound and Badge notification.
Verify if notifications are received. If notification is still not received follow the next set of steps.

Verify the AVEVA Work Tasks log files, verify all the exceptions that start with the text 'AMNS_' and all exceptions form the process ArchestrAMobileNotificationService.exe.

Contact the support team with the exception. For more information about the logger console, see Logger Console section in the Developer Guide.

If exceptions are related to connectivity follow the next set of steps.
To verify the connectivity between AVEVA Work Tasks server and Mobile Notification Service on the cloud, complete the following steps:

Open Farm Configuration Wizard.

Click Next.
-
Select Service Settings to open the Services/Global Settings screen.

Click Next.

Click
against Mobile Notification Service to open the Mobile Notification Service Settings
screen.

Go to the Register tab.

Click Test Connectivity in the Register section.

If connectivity test fails, check the network connection of the Server or contact your network administrator.

If connectivity passes, send a test notification to verify if notifications are successfully sent.

To send test notifications,

In the Registration Details section, click Test Notification.
The Test Notification dialog appears.

Select a mobile device and click Send Notification.
If the test notifications are not sent, view the Logger console for specific logs from the process ArchestrAMobileNotificationService.exe. Contact the support team with the exception.
