Register Assemblies From GAC

Use the From GAC option to list assemblies from the GAC. You can choose assemblies from GAC which you want to use in AVEVA Work Tasks.

To give alias names to classes and assemblies using the From GAC option

1. In the Enterprise Console, click menu icon, click Tools, and then click SOA Assembly. The Assembly List page appears.

2. On the Action bar, click New, and then click From GAC. The Select an Assembly wizard appears.

3. Select an Assembly, and then click Next to view details of the selected assembly. The Objects-Accessibility dialog box appears.

4. Select either a Class or a Method from the left pane to display its details.

5. Type an alias for the selected Class or Method in the Enter Alias For box.

6. Click OK to save the settings.

7. Click Finish & Publish to complete the Object selection.

GAC Assembly Fields

• Assembly: Lists the available assemblies. You can sort assemblies in ascending or descending order, by clicking the row head.

• Version: Displays the list of versions of the particular assembly. You can sort the versions in ascending or descending order by clicking the row head.
