Verify Installation

After you install AVEVA Work Tasks Pro, verify the successful configuration and installation of AVEVA Work Tasks Pro on your mobile device. The following steps are based on the following assumptions:

AVEVA Work Tasks is installed.

Service Bus Listener URL has been generated.

Users have been added (admin and John in this scenario).

AVEVA Work Tasks Pro application has been installed and configured.
To verify the installation

In the Enterprise Console, click
menu icon, and then click Workflows.

Create a Leave Approval workflow.

Add an Approval activity.
Set its properties as explained below:

Name: Enter a name for the activity, say Leave Approval.

Delivery Channel: In the Delivery Channels window, select the MobileWorkList check box in the Channels section.
Click Save Channels. This enables the activity to deliver the task to the Inbox in the mobile devices.

Assign Actor: Set the actor to whom the task is to delivered. For example, admin.

Subject: Set the subject for the leave approval task.

Body: Set the Body text for the leave approval task.

Click Save to save the property changes.

Drag and drop an Information activity.
Set its properties as explained below:

Name: Enter a name for the activity, say Leave Approved.

Delivery Channel: In the Delivery Channels window, select the MobileWorkList check box in the Channels section.
Click Save Channels.

Assign Actor: Set the actor to whom the information is to delivered. For example, John.

Subject: Set the subject for the leave approval information.

Body: Set the Body text for the leave approval information.

Click Save to save the property changes.

Drag and drop another Information activity.
Set its properties as explained below:

Name: Enter a name for the activity, say Leave Rejected

Delivery Channel: In the Delivery Channels window, select the MobileWorkList check box in the Channels section.
Click Save Channels.

Assign Actor: Set the actor to whom the information is to delivered. For example, John.

Subject: Set the subject for the leave rejection information.

Body: Set the Body text for the leave rejection information.

Click Save to save the property changes.

Publish and Test Run the workflow.

Log on to the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro mobile application as admin user. For details about configuration settings, see Install and Configure AVEVA Work Tasks Pro App.
The user will be able to see the assigned task in the Inbox.

Tap on the task to view and act on it. Enter comments and click either approve or reject.

Log on to the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro mobile application as John. The approval or rejection information has been delivered to John's Inbox.
Note: The Backup and Restore option in iTunes will not restore the configuration settings of Work Tasks Pro. The user needs to re-configure the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro.
