Error while Installing Configuration Farm or Web Sites

1. During install, you get the following error message:
Error: Cannot read configuration file
Probable Cause
This error occurs if the AVEVA Work Tasks sites, namely the Central Configuration and the Enterprise Console, exists in Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
Resolution

Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

Expand Web Sites.

Expand AVEVAWorkTasksSites.
-
Delete AVEVA Work Tasks sites, namely the Central Configuration and the Enterprise Console.

Install AVEVA Work Tasks based on your installation scenario again.
2. Websites created by the Farm Configuration wizard are not getting deleted while uninstalling Farm Configuration Wizard.
Probable Cause
This occurs if the the user creates a website with the same name as that of the parent website which was created by the Farm Configuration Wizard using the New Website feature in IIS Structure.
Example:

If Farm Configuration Wizard had a site which was created using the New Website feature in IIS with structure the name Telematics.

Later the user creates a Enterprise Console or Central Configuration or Virtual Directory with the name Telematics under the parent website Telematics (created in step 1).
Resolution
Ensure that the parent site is removed from the IIS.
